My name is Cotter. I was born in the beautiful town of Durango, CO where gorgeous scenery isn't far in any direction.

 

I started out with a simple point and shoot digital camera and somewhat accidentally got some great shots. It was soon that I realized I had a real knack (and growing love and passion) for capturing and creating amazing photos. 

My photography journey started in 2005 and since then, I've have the pleasure of working as a photo pro for the Durango and Silverton Train, capturing some beautiful outdoor Colorado weddings, to finding incredible scenery and even the occasional wildlife when they're not feeling too camera shy.  
With some extra training, I've even been able to merge my photo fun with some underwater scuba adventures. 

What started out as an accidental hobby, has blossomed into an incredible journey that I absolutely love to pursue.
